David Drew Pinsky, best known as Dr. Drew, is an American board-certified internist and addiction specialist with an estimated net worth of $20 million. He is 6’0″ and weighs 190 pounds. David Drew Pinsky was born on September 4, 1958 in Pasadena, California. His father, Morton Pinsky was a physician and his mother was a retired singer and actress. He earned his M.D. from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1984.

Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew began airing on VH1 in 2008. The show chronicles various celebrities’ road to addiction recovery at a drug rehabilitation facility. Dr. Drew served as the resident medical expert. Since then VH1 has given Dr. Drew the spin-offs Sober House and Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew.
