Robert Williams better known by his stage name Meek Mill, is an American rapper with an estimated net worth of $2 million dollars. He was so impressed with Meek Mill’s talent that he took him to Los Angeles to meet with him and Warner Bros. Records. Within a week Warner Bros. and Grand Hustle offered him a record deal. Although he received other offers, Meek Mill chose to work with T.I.’s Grand Hustle because he thought it would be a chance of a lifetime. Unfortunately right when his life was changing for the better he got charged with a crime and was ordered to serve seven months in jail. He was released from jail in 2009.
After his release from jail, the rapper teamed up with Grand Hustle’s in-house disc jockey, DJ Drama. They worked together to release the third edition of his Flamers series, Flamers 3: The Wait Is Over (2010). Due to Meek’s and T.I.’s legal issues he was unable to release an album. He parted ways with Grand Hustle in 2010 and signed with American rapper Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group (MMG) in 2011.
After dropping successful singles such as “Amen”, “Yong & Getting’ It”, and “Burn”, Meek Mill released his debut album Dreams & Nightmares (2012). The album debuted at the number two spot on the Billboard 200. He has not released a second studio album as of yet.
