Antonio M. “L.A.” Reid is an American record executive, songwriter, and record producer with an estimated net worth of $300 million. He is 5’9″ and weighs 190 pounds. One of four children, Antonio M. Reid was born on June 7, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. L.A. loved music from childhood and in the early 1980s he formed R&B group Deele, alongside friend Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. After the disbandment of the group in the mid-1980s, L.A. and Edmonds became a successful songwriting and producing team garnering over thirty number one singles for artists including Whitney Houston and Boyz II Men.

As well as winning three Grammy Awards, L.A. has also earned an impressive 18 BMI awards, and was recently honored with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ President’s Merit Award at the 2013 Grammys Industry Icons ceremony.
