Nicholai Olivia Hilton was born in New York, New York on October 5, 1983. She is the granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. She was raised in Los Angeles, California as a Roman Catholic. Her father Richard Hilton, works as a businessman and her mother Kathy Hilton, is a former actress. Hilton graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart in 2001. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design but received a degree from neither.

In 2004 Nicky Hilton launched her first clothing line. She also designed a line of handbags for the Japanese brand Samantha Thavasa. Three years later she debuted her second line Nicholai, at New York City’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The line’s spring/summer 2008 collection was placed at a higher price point than her first clothing line.

Nicky Hilton became the face of Australian underwear brand Antz Pantz in 2005 alongside Kimberly Stewart. She was eventually replaced with Australian model Megan Maitland. After being replaced, Hilton graced the cover of Lucire magazine’s New Zealand and Romanian editions.

In August 2004 Nicky Hilton married her childhood friend Todd Andrew Meister at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Vegas. The got their marriage annulled after 3 months of marriage. The couple explained that they got married on a whim.
