Jackson was a formidable athlete from early on and he excelled at both football and basketball at Widefield High School. Jackson’s career took off in 2008 when he had his first 1,000 yard receiving season with seven touchdowns. He would go on to repeat the feat in 2009 with 9 touchdowns. After a contract dispute derailed his 2010 season, Jackson has had three more 1,000 yard seasons. In 2012 he left San Diego for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and signed a 5-year, $55.55 million contract.
