Although Mos Def is an accomplished hip-hop artist who has garnered six Grammy nominations to date, he is also recognized for his performances in television and film. He has earned critical acclaim for his performances in films like Something the Lord Made, Next Day Air, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Be Kind Rewind, The Italian Job, and his portrayal of Brother Sam on the Showtime drama series Dexter.
