Eric Stonestreet is an American actor with an estimated net worth of $6 million. He is 6’1″ and weighs 276 pounds. Eric Allen Stonestreet was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 9, 1971. As a child Stonestreet aspired to become a clown. At the age of nine he created a clown character named Fizbo. Stonestreet graduated from Piper High School and matriculated to Kansas State University. When he graduated from Kansas State in 1996, Stonestreet spent two years studying improv and performing with The Second City Center in Chicago. He then moved to Los Angeles for bigger opportunities in the entertainment business.

Stonestreet has made guest appearances on many television shows, some of his television credits include Malcolm in the Middle, Party of Five, Spin City, ER, The West Wing, Bones, American Dad, NCIS, Nip/Tuck, and countless others.

It wasn’t until 2009 when he was cast as Cameron Tucker on ABC’s Modern Family did Stonestreet finally get his big break. Stonestreet has earned two Primetime Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” for his work on Modern Family.

In addition to his television work, some of Stonestreet’s film credits include Almost Famous (2000), Bad Teacher (2011), The Muppets (2011), and Identity Thief (2013).

Although Stonestreet plays a gay guy on television he claims that he is “openly straight” in real life. In his free-time Stonestreet can be seen at a Los Angeles Kings’ hockey game or cheering on his alma mater, Kansas State, at any sporting event.
