Tyler, the Creator is an American rapper and record producer with an estimated net worth of $4 million. He is 6’2” and weighs 171 pounds. Tyler Gregory Okonma was born on March 6, 1991 in Los Angeles, California to a Nigerian father and mother of mixed- race descent. Okonma has never met his father and was primarily raised in the Ladera Heights and Hawthorne communities on L.A. by his mother. At the age of 14, he taught himself how to play the piano. During his 12 years of schooling, he attended 12 different schools.

His second studio album, Wolf, came out in 2013 and received generally positive reviews. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. It sold 90,000 copies in its first week.

Tyler, the Creator has also won a couple of awards for his work in the music industry. He won the “Best New Artist” award at the MTV Video Music Awards  in 2011. That same year he won the “Rookie of the Year” and “Must Follow Artist” awards at the MTV Sucker Free Awards.
