He said, ” The public likes generic more than they like to admit.” he added, ” so that’s what I gave them- I gave them sexual singles and they ate it up.” Although Trey is now a commercial success, he has not forgotten about his roots. He has founded the Songz for Peace Foundation. The foundation provides positive messages for delinquent youth who are at risk for causing violence in his hometown of Petersburg, Virginia.
