Brown went on to have his own solo career. He released the following albums: King of Stage (1986), Don’t Be Cruel (1988), Bobby (1992), Forever (1997), and The Masterpiece (2012). A few of his hit singles are “Every Little Step”, “My Prerogative”, and “Don’t Be Cruel”.

Bobby Brown is also known for his highly publicized thirteen-year marriage with the late music icon Whitney Houston. Brown and Houston had one daughter together, Bobbi Kristina Brown. He also has two sons and a daughter from other relationships.
