Mona Scott Young has an estimated net worth of $30 million dollars

Mona Scott-Young is an American entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $30 million. She started off her professional career working at a developing firm where she managed graphic designers. Scott-Young didn’t plan on getting involved with the music industry but it sort of fell into her lap.

While taking dance classes at Broadway Dance, she met a group of women who owned a company called Duntori. Duntori was a firm that developed artists. They asked her to come work for them a manage a group called the A-Team. She then joined Brooklyn’s TrackMasters and managed the group. This is when she met her future business partner Chris Lighty.

Chris Lighty and Scott-Young eventually decided to form Violator Managment. During the 90s and early 2000s their management firm had an impressive roster which included A-list music artists such as LL Cool J, Missy Elliot, 50 Cent, and Busta Rhymes.

Although she gained much success with her management firm, after 20 years Scott-Young began to feel unfulfilled and complacent. After much consideration she left Violator Management to pursue other endeavors.

She currently owns the multi-media company Monami Entertainment. Her comapny produces shows like the  Love & Hip-Hop franchise, Donald Trump Presents: The Ultimate Merger, Chrissy & Mr. Jones, The Gossip Game, and the History Channel’s Cocaine: History Between the Lines, among others.

Although television/film production and talent management are Scott-Young’s forte, she has used her exceptional marketing skills to branch off into beverage branding.  Mona Scott-Young is  the chief marketing officer of the fruit-infused moscato beverage, Myx Fusions.
