Mark Sanchez has an estimated net worth of $20 million dollars.

Mark Sanchez is a professional American football player with an estimated net worth of $20 million. Sanchez is a quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He is 6’2and weighs 225 pounds. Mark Travis John Sanchez was born on November 11, 1986 in Long Beach, California. Sanchez was one of three children born to Nick and Olga Sanchez. His parents divorced when he was four and he and his brothers lived with their father, who eventually remarried. Sanchez developed an interest in football in middle school and eventually attended Mission Viejo High School, a school famous for developing quarterbacks.  Sanchez had a 27-1 record with the team, won a state championship and was considered the top college quarterback prospect in the country in 2004.

Sanchez decided to attend the University of Southern California and red-shirted his first year as he waited his opportunity behind starter Matt Leinart and backup Josh Booty. He saw limited action as a sophomore and junior as he was behind Booty on the depth chart. In his fourth year, however,  he put together an impressive season throwing for 41 touchdowns and almost 4,000 yards on the way to leading USC to a Rose Bowl victory over Penn State, with Sanchez being named the most valuable player. Sanchez could have played another year of college, but decided to enter the 2009 NFL Draft. He was taken by the New York Jets with the fifth overall pick and earned the starting position for the team as a rookie.

Sanchez enjoyed immediate success with the Jets leading them to the playoff and the AFC Championship game. Although his statistic were not impressive , his team leadership and clutch performances were critical for the team as it finished with a 9-7 record. He would enjoy similar success in his second season  and put up better numbers, as the team once again reached the championship game but came up just short of the Super Bowl. Although he would have  his best statistical year in his third season, the team did not make the playoffs and Sanchez would increasingly come under fire, especially after his next season where he underperformed. He was injured in the last game of preseason in 2013 and ruled out for the entire year. Sanchez’s Hispanic heritage, good looks and high profile  have made him a natural fit for endorsements.
