Alfonso Ribeiro is an American actor with an estimated net worth of $5 million.  Ribeiro is 5’6″ and weighs 175 pounds. Alfonso Lincoln Ribeiro was born on September 21, 1971 in The Bronx, New York to parents from Trinidad and Tobago. Ribeiro began acting at the age of eight. He rose to prominence in 1983 after starring in the lead role of the Broadway musical The Tap Dance Kid. The following year he appeared as a dancer in one of Michael Jackson’s Pepsi commercials.

In 1984 Alfonso Ribeiro was cast as Rick Schroder’s best friend in the television series Silver Spoons. The next year he authored a book called Alfono’s Breakin’ & Poppin’ Book which he self-advertised on MTV commercials. The book is currently out of print.

He is best known for his role as rich kid Carlton Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. His character was known for the infamous “Carlton Dance” and dancing to Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual”.

When The Fresh Prince of Bel Air ended in 1996 Ribeiro co-starred as Dr. Maxwell Stanton on the sitcom In the House with LL Cool J.

Alfonso has worked as a television host for the following television shows: Your Big Break (2000), GSN Live (2008-09), Catch 21 (2008-2011), and Spell-Mageddon (2013).

In 2013 Alfonso Ribeiro appeared on the UK reality series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Alfonso Ribeiro married writer Angela Unkrich on October 13, 2012. They reside in Los Angeles with their son Alfonso Ribeiro, Jr. He also has a daughter named Sienna Ribeiro from a previous marriage.
