Her father was a Puerto Rican Jew who owned a chain of leather factories in Puerto Rico and moved to Jamaica to expand his operations. From 2004 to 2007 Wolfeld worked as the weekend sportscaster for WABC’s Eyewitness News in New York City. She had a special segment called “Jenna’s Beef” in which she spoke on current events in the sports world.
Jenna Wolfeld is currently a correspondent for NBC’s Today. She is also a weekend anchor for the talk program Weekend Today.
On March 27, 2013 Jenna Wolfeld came out publicly as a lesbian. She announced that she was expecting her first child with her partner, NBC News Foreign Correspondent, Stephanie Gosk. Wolfe and Gosk welcomed their baby girl, Estelle Wolfeld-Gosk on August 21, 2013. She lives in Manhattan with her family.
