Ellen DeGeneres is an American comedian, actress, and television host with an estimated net worth of $105 million. DeGeneres is best known for hosting the hit daytime program, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She is 5’7″ and 132 pounds. Ellen Lee DeGeneres was born on January 26, 1958 in Metairie, Louisiana. DeGeneres’ mother was a speech therapist and her father an insurance agent. She has a brother who would on to be a musician. Her parents divorced when she 15 and she went with her mother to live in Texas while her brother stayed with her father. She earned 11 Daytime Emmy awards in the first season, including Best Talk Show, and 25 overall since then.
