Tauheed Epps, better known by his stage name 2 Chainz, is an American rapper with an estimated net worth of $2 million. He is 6’5″ and weighs 196 pounds. 2 Chainz initially came to prominence in Atlanta competitive hip hop scene as a member of Playaz Circle with high school friend Earl Conyers, better known as Dolla Boy. After the release of their independent album in 2002 Playaz Circle  met and collaborated with up and coming rapper Ludacris, whose own star would soon take off making him among the most popular rappers in the country. Soon after Ludacris would sign Playaz Circle to his own label and its debut album, Supply and Demand, was released in 2007 with moderate success, especially the single “Duffle Bag Boy.” In 2010, 2 Chainz left the duo in search of fame on his own and a year later changed his moniker to what it is currently.

2 Chainz would make history when in 2011 he released the first mixtape to appear on the music charts at 4 on the Billboard Top Hip Hop albums. The tape would lead to his debut studio album, Based on a T.R.U. Story, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He released his second studio album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, in 2013, which featured collaborations with some of the biggest names in hip hop including Lil’ Wayne and T-Pain and debuted at on the Billboard 200. 2 Chainz has recently expanded his performing resume to include acting as he guest starred on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and the sitcom 2 Broke Girls. 2 Chainz recently became engaged to Kesha. The two have a daughter together.
