Where the CEOs Go: The Five Universities That Produce the Most CEOs

It goes without saying that in order to make it into the top tax bracket it helps to have a college degree. Of course there are a few college dropouts who made it to the big time (i.e. Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates) but the majority of CEOs and millionaire businessmen and women have illustrious collegiate careers behind them. And the top one percent didn’t just go to the community college down the street. No, these men and women graduated at the top of their class from the best universities in the world. Based on the alma maters of Fortune Global 500 CEOs the Times Higher Education (TME) just released a list of the universities around the world that produce the most CEOs. TME determined the university rankings using: “the total number of degrees awarded to CEOs; the total number of CEO alumni; [and] the total revenue of the alumni CEOs’ companies.” No matter what job you’re applying for, having one of the following five universities on your CV will certainly push you to the top of the pile:
