RaaShaun Casey, professionally known as DJ Envy, in an American DJ and radio personality with an estimated net worth of $6 million. He is best known for being a host New York’s Power 105.1 nationally syndicated morning show, The Breakfast Club.RaaShaun Casey was born on August 3, 1977 in Queens, New York. In the mid-1990s DJ Clue, and esteemed New York DJ, started mentoring Casey. DJ Clue introduced him to the mix-tape circuit and by the early 2000s Casey started selling mix-tapes with freestyles from 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and The L.O.X.. Hot 97 was impressed with his hosting skills, offered him a job co-hosting with Miss Jones for their daily morning show. When Miss Jones moved to Philly in 2008, DJ began spinning on his own mix-shows called “The People’s Mix” and “The People’s Choice List” on Saturdays and Sundays, both of which were broadcast on Hot 97.
On December 6, 2010 DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God began hosting “The Breakfast Club Morning Show” on Hot 97’s competitor station, Power 105. He also hosts Hip-Hop Nation’s afternoon show on Sirius XM Radio.
On march 21, 2020 DJ Envy became the host of MTV2’s Sucker Free Countdown show.
