Kimora Lee Simmons is a former American fashion model, and she is currently the CEO/Creative Designer for Baby Phat and JustFab fashion brands. She has an estimated net worth of $50 million. She is six feet tall and her weight is 155 pounds. Kimora Lee Perkins was born on May 4, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri. Kimora was born of mixed race parents, with a Korean mother who was adopted by an American serviceman during the Korean war, and an African American father was a federal marshal, bail bondsman and barber. Her father was sent to prison after being found guilty of selling drugs when Kimora was in grade school. Soon after she would begin designing child clothing for the Baby Phat line in 1999 and was eventually named the company’s creative director and president. It expanded from a baby clothing line to a full line of urban women’s wear. The company was purchased in 2004 for $140 million and Simmons role expanded as a jewelry component. She would also create a line of fragrances and shoes and in 2007 Simmons was promoted to president and creative director of Phat Fashions. Kimora also served as executive producer of Russell Simmons Presents: Def Poetry Jam in 2003 and served as  judge on America’s Next Top Model and MTV’s Fashionably Loud. Her celebrity would further increase when she would star in a succession of reality shows. Kimora and Simmons divorced in 2009. They have two daughters.
