Vince Young has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million dollars

Vince Young is a professional American football player with an estimated net worth of 1.5 million dollars. He is 6’5″ and weighs 232 pounds. Vince Paul Young, Jr. was born on May 18, 1983 in Houston, Texas. Raised by his mother and grandmother, with his father in prison, Vince became a legendary football player in Texas’s rich high school football tradition. He played at Madison High School, with many of his games broadcast around the state and in front of large crowds often at professional sports venues. He was named Parade’s National Player of the Year in his senior year and decided to attend the University of Texas in 2002.

After red-shirting his freshman year, Young alternated time in his second year. In 2004, Young started every game and became a collegiate star. He led the team to an 11-1 record and a top 5 final ranking. It was his next year, however, that would establish Young as one of best college players of all time. He led the Longhorns to an 11-0 record in the regular season and their No. 2 ranking qualified them to play defending National Champions USC in the Rose Bowl. The Trojans were heavily favored but a stellar performance by Young, including 467 yards of total offense and 3 rushing touchdown (including one to take the lead with 19 seconds left), gave the Longhorns and upset 41-38 win and a national championship in 2006.

Young chose to enter the 2006 NFL Draft  and was taken with the third overall pick by the Tennessee Titans. He was an immediate success, leading the Titans to come from behind wins and setting several rookie records on his way to being named the Rookie of the Year and playing in the Pro Bowl. His next year was even better as he led the team to the playoffs. Things started to turn south, however, in 2008, when he injured his knee and missed most of the season. The next season, Young started as a backup with disagreements with Coach Jeff Fisher leading to unhappiness from the quarterback. Even though he returned to play in 2010, more injuries and altercations eventually led the Titans to release him in 2011. Young was signed as a back-up for the Philadelphia Eagles the following season. Even though he was signed by two other teams afterward, each released him before long.
