Mike Tyson is a retired professional American boxer and the former undisputed heavy weight champion of the world with an estimated net worth of $1 million. Michael Gerard Tyson was born on June 30, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York. Tyson’s father was a talented baseball player in North Carolina before he moved to New York and met his mother. His troubles were just beginning as he was soon arrested for rape in 1991 and would eventually be found guilty and sentenced to six years in prison, of which he served three years.

Tyson would go on to fight in 1996 against Evander Holyfield in an attempt to regain the heavyweight championship but lost despite being a heavy favorite.
