Robin Givens is an American actress with an estimated net worth of $2 million. She has starred in films like Boomerang (1992), Head of State (2003), and The Family That Preys (2008). Givens is 5’5″ and weighs 124 pounds. Robin Simone Givens was born on November 27, 1964 in New York City, New York. An extremely bright and talented student, Givens graduated from high school at 15 and attended prestigious Sarah Lawrence College in 1984 and would go on to attend Harvard Medical School for two years, before leaving to pursue acting full time.

After getting a small roles in The Cosby Show in 1985 and other sitcoms, Givens got her big break when she was cast as “Darlene Merriman” on the sitcom Head of the Class in 1986. During the run of the show, Givens became an even bigger celebrity when she married boxer Mike Tyson in 1988. The relationship was tumultuous to say the least, with Givens claiming spousal abuse during an interview with Barbara Walters. When the marriage ended, Givens was vilified as many viewed her as a cold and calculating spouse.

Even before Head of the Class ended in 1991, Givens appeared in movies like Brewster’s Place and when would go on to work in films like Boomerang (1992), opposite Eddie Murphy. In the 1990s she also posed for Playboy magazine and returned to television in the show Sparks. She tried her hand at hosting a talk show and other television shows but failed to gain much success in the new century until she was cast in Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys (2008). Since then she has starred in several Perry vehicles, appeared in CW’s The Game, NBC’s Chuck and USA’s Burn Notice. Givens adopted a child in 1993 and was married for a second time in 1997 to a tennis instructor, although it ended in divorce only months later. In 2000 she had a second child with tennis player Murphy Jensen.
