Jill Marie Jones spent six seasons as a series regular on the show. In May 2006 she left Girlfriends because her contract expired. Many were upset over her departure and the show’s ratings suffered. It declined from 3.5 million in season 6 to 2.5 million in season 7 and 2.1 million in season 8.

Since her departure from Girlfriends, Jill Marie Jones’ film and television credits include The Perfect Holiday (2007), 35 and Ticking (2011), American Horror Story: Asylum, and Sleepy Hollow.

She has also made music video appearances in Ne-Yo’s “She Got Her Own” and T.I.’ and Keri Hilson’s music video for “Got Your Back”.
