Columbus Short is an American actor, singer, and choreographer with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. He is 5’10″ and weighs 175 pounds. Columbus Short Jr. was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 19, 1982. Columbus Short starting entertaining from a young age. He would put on shows for his family and other relatives. He would dance, sing, or make his audiences laugh. Short’s family knew that the young boy had something special in him. They relocated to Los Angeles, California when Short was in his early teens. The move opened up many new opportunities for the adolescent boy to showcase his talents.

Columbus Short quickly booked parts in commercials for Denny’s Restaurant, Pizza Hut, and Mountain Dew. During his senior year in high school, Short was given the chance to graduate two months early in order to travel with the Broadway production of “Stomp!”. Short toured with the show for a couple of years before he took his career to another level by choreographing Britney Spears’ “In the Zone” tour.

After his stint with Britney Spears, Short went back to following his passion of acting. His film credits include You Got Served (2004), War of the Worlds (2005), Save the Last Dance 2 (2006), This Christmas (2007), and Stomp the Yard (2007). Stomp the Yard was one of Short’s biggest successes. The film remained number one if the box-office for two weeks in a row and grossed over $73.4 million.

In 2012 Columbus Short was cast as Harrison Wright on the hit ABC drama series Scandal. When he is not busy performing on the set of Scandal, he enjoys football, basketball, and snowboarding in his free time. Short has a son and daughter  from his two previous marriages to Brandi Short and Tanee McCall.
